Just wanted to let anyone know, that AmSouth Bank (formerly First American and now transitioning to Regions) has been my bank for 22 years. I started my account when I was 18 and with my first 100 bucks, so...you do the math! When I was starting out, I remember getting a call to let me know my account was about to be overdrawn, if I couldn't get the money in by 2pm that day. Even back then, that was unusual. Now that I have started my own business, I naturally opened a business account. As all new business trying to get legs, my income fluctuated and on a couple of occasions, I have fallen a bit short before my clients would pay me. Instead of getting a call from my bank, I called them to let them know my situation and that the money was processed and on its way. Can you guess what their response was? Well, they told me not to worry since I was a small business account holder in good standing, they would cover the checks. I showed no proof, they just took my word as a good customer. I'm not saying everyone's bounced checks will be covered if you bank there, I can only tell you that when I REALLY needed them, they came through. And for that, I write this review and am very grateful to them for helping me and my small business succeed.
