Don't use these guys

Use this company at your own peril. Make sure you have insurance thru another source.

I had my furniture in their faciliry for just under 3 years. It came out of storage moldy, mildewed/dirty/ and clawed by animals. The estimate for repairing my furniture was over $7,000.

Don't use them.

You were warned.

FIND ANOTHER MOVING AND STORAGE COMPANY, FAST!

They will not honor their bonding or insurance. They lose, steal and break your items. Owner's wife is in real estate and adds to their seized bounties from her customers, or victims.

You will be charged for road times that their drivers are getting lost...get a map! You will be blamed for broken and damaged items.

If you choose not to pay attention to these many bad reviews, at least do the following. Make an inventory of every single item, every one! Have the owner sign off on it, or it is useless.

Make sure you have contact with the owner prior to them departing on the first leg of your move and document this time and let him know you are doing so. Call and document every leg of the trip. You will be charged excessively if you do not do this!!!! Don't forget that final call when they are finished.

As for the person whose credit card was overly charged. I can only guess who did this....the owner and his wife who have very expensive taste...and very nice furniture, etc. from what I am missing!

It is just stuff and I feel that they will get theirs when the investigation process is finished.

A TOTAL racket!

The only thing that appeases me is the knowledge of VERY HIGH level authorities looking into this company, from the bottom up. Including the little racket between the husband and wife team. (The real estate/moving/storage....ultimately stealing and selling scam).

The Alison and Jan reviews are the same day as reviews on A Affordable moving. Obviously employees/relatives. Especially since one is talking about real estate referral...ie: wife is agent....most likely the one giving the review.

Oh, and the antique comment...they do not move antiques...said insurance would not pay as they broke to many and I had to move my own.

Not Recommended

I wouldn't recommend that anyone use this company to move. We received a quote that included an extra $350 for boxes and packing supplies. What we received was 54 used boxes with other peoples names and destinations written on them. Our house was 2700 square feet. Apparently, we would've needed many more than 54 boxes. Used boxes aren't necessarily a problem either, I've used them many times to move, courtesy the local liquor store. The only difference is that they were FREE. After many calls to the company (someone was eternally on vacation), we finally received a call back, informed them 54 used boxes, 54 rolls of tape(?), and no bubble wrap for $350 was totally unacceptable. About 2 days later, we received about 3 HUGE stacks of broken down used boxes. I was told they were cheaper. For who? My $350 price never changed. I checked with U-Haul, and I would've gotten 148 new boxes and packing supplies for $379. We finally received the bubble wrap about a week and a half later. We should've run screaming at this point, we should've gone with the moving company that had the higher quote, but we were moving then within days. The guys that did the actual leg work worked hard. My problems are not with them in particular. The worst part of this, is that we used our credit card to pay off the balance at the end of our move. They don't carry a card reader with them, so they called and read the number to someone. A week later, we received a call from our bank's fraud dept. asking if we charged $10,000 starting the day AFTER WE MOVED. Somebody paid off multiple T-Mobile & Comcast bills among other things. We had not used that card in over one year. I'm not accusing anyone in particular of robbing us, but, it appears Airborne does not have a very secure system. Luckily, it's under investigation, and we aren't responsible for any of it. Our experience with this company was horrendous. I wouldn't let this company move my garbage to the curb.

DO NOT USE!!!!!

I made an appointment for them to get to my apartment to move between 11-1. I wanted an early time because there was supposed to be a thunderstorm after 4 and I had to be out of my apartment on this day.

They changed my time to "between 1 and 2". No one showed up during this time. I tried calling several times. Either the line was busy or someone would pick up the phone, and then hang up. I called the cell number of the boss, Tim, who called me earlier in the morning to change the time. He kept sending me to voicemail.

The movers finally showed up at 3:30 and started moving. Of course, like the weather said, it started thunderstorming soon after. They moved everything in the rain, ruining my couch. The boss did not allow them to wait 30 minutes for the rain to stop unless I paid them. I understand that under normal circumstances this would be the rule, but with them showing up well past the time they were scheduled he should have been more lenient. If they had showed up at the time they scheduled, this would not have been a problem.

They got everything moved and then flat out asked me for a tip. I have no problem tipping, and was planning on doing so but I thought the fact that they asked me for it was incredibly rude and disrespectful.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE unless you want to deal with and support IDIOTS.

My fiancee and I recently were trying to combine our apartments before our upcoming marriage and we

chose Airborne to move both apartments on the same day. They sent one truck to each apt and showed up on time as promised. This allowed us to move into our new home with no problems. Thanks for your time and attention to detail. I especially appreciate the extra time the movers put into wrapping our antique pieces...they all arrived in perfect condition.

Fast and dependable movers...been in business for a LONG time

I used Airborne to move into my first home back in 1993 and was glad to see that when i needed a mover once again that they were still in business and bigger and better than ever. I compared prices to be sure as cost is very important but chose Airborne based on their knowledge and experience. Thanks for your help...hope I don't have to move again anytime soon but if I need a mover, I know who to call...Thanks Tim and staff

Unbelievable service!!! highly recommend this company to save $$$

We recently sold our home much faster than anticipated and needed a mover at the last minute...I was referred to Airborne by my Crye-Leike agent, and was overwhelmed by their desire to help us save money!

Because our home closed quickly and we had to move much faster than we planned, we did not have anywhere to go...and Tim Haynes gave us some great suggestions on storing our furniture in his warehouse while the home we were building was completed. Rather than have to rent storage units and or pods we made one phone call and the company showed up, helped us finish packing, moved the items to storage and we were done!! Three months later we called to let them know that our home was ready and all the items were delivered as promised on time and in PERFECT condition!!!!! THANK YOU AIRBORNE!

Stay away from this shyster!!! If you bring your own truck he charges $600 for a dock fee and doesn't have a forklift or any help! Raised the fee from the agreed $250 a month to over $600 because items were "heavy" ????? We had equipment to move and place the stuff! RUDE , GREEDY MAN! look else where , NOT RECOMMENDED! warehouse is NASTY! FIRE HAZARDS EVERYWHERE! Advertises it as a "climate controlled" warehouse. Thats not true, no insulation, no heat, no lights! I will never do business with Airborne again!

Airborne moving bad customer service

I used Ariborne moving company last April, I stored some property into their storage and I have been trying for 3 days to get a few boxes out. I called Friday to schedule an appointment for Saturday morning at 7:30 am I showed up to remove the boxes and was thrown out because of an emergency another customer had I only needed 15 minutes. The owner was rude and nasty to me. I tried again on Monday again he stated that he could not help me becuase he has other jobs. So I will remove my property and never use them again. I am a paying customer and I should have been treated with some respect and courtesy. So I would not suggest this company to anyone.

I was left in the hot sun until a person came to close the gate, why couldn't that person let me get my boxes!! I am upset about this why was this customer more important than I and why couldn't I just get my boxes and leave. Customer service is not good and if he can't handle the business why not hire someone who can the hours of operations states 8-5 M-F. I went at noon and again at 3 the following Monday.
