The Zoo is not just for the kiddies!. The Memphis Zoo is definitely not just for the kiddies anymore. Starting in the early 90's, the Zoo has opened new and innovative exhibits focusing on education and preservation of different areas of the animal kingdom. From Cat Country to Primate Canyon to On the Farm to the Zoo's newest exhibit CHINA, each exhibit uses natural environments to showcase each animal. In the Zoo's CHINA exhibit, there is even a space for two giant pandas (the arrangement is still being worked out but they should arrive by the end of 2002). The Zoo is not only a great tourist attraction but also a great place for Memphians to visit and enjoy. Definitely a 10!…
i like the memphis zoo but. i was not aware the giraffes were able to live on gravel.they had 3 living in a gravel pit.thats a problem .i liked it though.cat country was cool and the new panda exhibit building looked awesome .but outside those to things it wasnt too great.i had fun though…
