I loved this Bar in College....hint. Things have changed though. It's still a good Midtown bar to have a drink, shoot some pool and have a snack (the Friend Shrooms kick Arse).
The best thing about this bar is the folks behind the bar. Andy, Neil, Girl-Andy, Reed....Tony? I don't remember them all, but you learn names quick when you have a great bartendar.
- Pros: SERVICE, DRINKS, SPACE
- Cons: Food
bouncer is not worth it

The prices are okay and the entertainment is ok. Nothing to write home about. The Bouncer here is absolutely psycho. He attacked my husband when my husband was caught in the middle of two other people fighting. My husband was not fighting. The bartender came in and punched my husband from behind. We have a waiter who saw the whole thing and the owner and bouncer are lucky we are not the suing type. This was the second time that night that the bouncer was unreasonable. He is a huge insurance liability for the owner.
Feed your hangover in the very spot you got it. Plus, you can smoke and shoot pool.

The Scene
A haze of smoke often lingers around the folks playing pool, throwing darts or singing karaoke. This Midtown haunt is particularly popular with Rhodes College's undergrads. Fear not: You don't have to be a sorority sister or frat boy to feel at home here. This is a neighborhood hangout with a varied crowd. All are welcome.
The Food
Whether you stroll in at 2pm or 2am, wanting your first meal of the day or your last, the menu accommodates. Sixteen hours a day, seven days a week, you can order steak and eggs, Southern catfish, omelets and sandwiches. The chili cheeseburger comes in a bowl, completely smothered, so don't forget to ask for a spoon. Need a drink? Diet Coke and iced tea, Bloody Marys and beer wash down finger foods and entrees alike.
