Worship rock legends while dining on familiar American favorites..
In Short
Walls covered with decades of Top-40 memorabilia, rock songs blaring in the background and an all-American menu typify this music-themed restaurant. The kitchen churns out
group-friendly appetizers like nachos and Southern staples like barbecue ribs and chicken. Burgers are served with hefty sides of fries and the signature pulled-pork sandwich is topped with vinegar barbecue sauce. The gift shop sells branded items like T-shirts, shot glasses and hats.…
Good food, a little overpriced, but paying for atmosphere. You should visit if in the area.. The food was good, but a little overpriced. Of course, you're paying for the atmosphere. The waiter, Greg, was very pushy. We just wanted to sit down and rest and look in the Rock Shop after eating. He told us we could go pick out what we wanted in the Rock Shop and they would just add it to our check. Of course they would add the purchase when they charge a 15% gratuity to your total check, merchandise and food purchase. The waiter gets a fat tip that way. That would have been all right if he had actually gotten the stuff for us, but we didn't know what we wanted so had to look for ourselves. He stood by us in the Rock Shop like we were going to skip out or something, then he carried the bag back into the restaurant where we paid our total check. If you go there, just pay your dinner check, then go shop at your leisure in the Rock Shop and pay for your purchase there. Don't let the waiter/waitress push you into doing it while they watch over your shoulder. We'll know better next time.…
Good if You're into Hard Rock. This was a good stop if your are into the Hard Rock Cafe experience as a friend of mine was (been to the one in every city he's been to that has one), but it was nothing special. The food was good but overpriced. The service was very prompt and friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant, but when in a place like Memphis and on Beale Street you should really try something that isn't a chain and there is plenty of incredible stuff to choose from on Beale Street alone!…
Awesome!. We had a blast at the Hard Rock Cafe! Between the food, the drinks, and the Elvis impersonator dancing with our friend on stage, it was great!
