HELLO IAM THE OWNER OF THE STUDIO IM WRITING IN REGARDS TO THE REVIEW ABOUT THE YOUNG MAN WHO CAME TO THE STUDIO WITH HIS OWN DESIGN AN HAVE US TATTOO HIM.FOR ONE THE SON IS BACK IN THE STUDIO TODAY TO GET MORE TATTOOS, HE SAID HIS MOTHER WAS UNHAPPY THAT HE GOT A TATTOO.HIS MOTHER CALLED US THE DAY AFTER THE TATTOO WAS APPLIED AN TREATED US AS IF WE WERE LOWER THAN HER, SHE SAID THAT WE MESSED HER SONS BODY UP WITH A TATTOO SHE SAID HE WAS NOT ALLOWED TO GET A TATTOO AN THIS TATTOO COSTED HIM HIS EDUCATION AND HIS VEHICLE.WE ARE A VERY PROFFESIONAL BUSINESS THERE ARE CONSENT FORMS THAT MUST BE FILLED OUT PRIOR TO THE APPLICATION OF THE TATTOO PLUS PROOF OF AGE IS REQUIRED RATHER BEING 18 OR 80 YOU MUST HAVE ID FOR US TO PHOTOCOPY.HIS DESIGN WAS A CROSS HE BROUGHT IN AN I WOULD LIKE HER TO DESRIBE A GOTHIC CROSS WHICH HE ONLY WANTED TO HAVE THE BASIC OUTLINE OF THE TATTOO APPLIED DUE TO HE WAS NOT SURE IF HE WANTED COLOR OR JUST BLACK.THE ARTIST THAT APPLIED THE TATTOO HAS BEEN TATTOOING FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND IS A QUALIFIED AND LICENSED ARTIST.THE CUSTOMER WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE OUTCOME OF THE OUTLINE.HIS MOTHER HAS NO RIGHT TO DOWN TALK OUR STUDIO .I JUST WANT TO SET THE STORY STRAIGHT.THIS IS THE FIRST BAD REVIEW THIS STUDIO HAS EVER HAD WE HAVE BEEN AT THIS LOCATION FOR 8 YEARS AN RUNNING.PLEASE JUST REMEBER THAT YOUR SON IS 18 LEGAL ADULT AN AGE TO GET A TATTOO RATHER YOU ARE AGAINST TATTOOS OR NOT TAKE THIS UP WITH YOUR SON NOT US IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO EMAIL US I WILL SEND YOU A PICTURE OF THE TATTOO.AND A COPY OF THE CONSENT FORM IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. It so did not hurt

OMG it so did not hurt. Paul pierced my belly button on 06/24/09 - this was the 3rd time that I had had it pierced (the first was from a well know Midtown shop and the other was in Ohio). I was very apprehensive because the other 2 times had been EXTREMELY PAINFUL. Paul pierced it and there WASN'T ANY PAIN and there has been very little tenderness or soreness since. Provided this one does reject (which will be my fault) I will be back getting the lower part pierced in a few months. Thanks Paul you are the BEST!

this guy is so lame . the very furthest from good or decent. i have covered his work up many times. an fixed the f ups. if u want good work go to ramsys shadow. n memphis downtown. these guys do all custo this clown here only traces. if it ant a stencil he cant do it. hahahaha

I would just like everyone to know; I have a lady friend who talks to the owner of this business quite often. she has had piercings and tattoos done by this place a few times and has recommended this place to a lot of people. I have been in there once to get my tongue pierced and they are wonderful. i have a friend who flies out to Colorado to get her tattoos and i am taking her into this place to check it out herself and she can write her review when she sees for herself how it is. she can not find a place she trusts to do tattoos any where in the mid south. so thank you Ink Stainz II for the wonderful work and thank you Paul for what you have accomplished.

I myself have not gotten a tattoo at ink stainz but I did go with my friend when she got hers and I loved it there. Everyone is so nice and helpful. And the place is neat and clean. I will definitely be goin there for my next tattoo!

for the upset mother...

everyone has there own opinions on every subject in the world..as for you downgrading ink stainz..you should keep those opinions to yourself! have you ever stepped foot inside ink stainz?! they are clean, welcoming, sanitary, and EXPERIENCED!!!

i have 2 tattoos and looking to get many more SOON..both done at ink stainz and i wouldnt dare go anywhere else.

and you say you wouldnt advise your worst enemy to go to ink stainz...well, with your attitude im sure you have plenty enemies..but i advise them and anyone else..if that want sanitary equipment, considerate artist, EXPERIENCE, and an end result that leaves you speechless...INK STAINZ is the ONLY place id recommend!

HORRIBLE WORK LOOKS LIKE A JAILHOUSE TATTOO

My 18 year old son got a tattoo Friday night. It is a cross, it is uneven, misshapen and not positioned right. He has has an emergency appointment with a dermatologist tommorrow morning to have it REMOVED. He's 18 young and it never occurred to him to ask the guy how experienced he was. He also had no idea that the cross he picked was a Gothic symbol, and they certainly didn't bother to tell him. I wonder how many young people this business takes advantage of. My son signed a batch of papers that they never gave him a copy of, and i seriously doubt he even read them. I would not send my worst enemy to this business. I am looking into suing them for the removal because of such a shody job and the fact that they never gave him a copy of what they had him sign. I wish he had gone to a professional and not this jackleg that didn't even give his name.

Jack does great work

Jack did a tattoo on my shoulder of my dog from a picture. He was very professional and has a great deal of skill. It was my first tattoo and although the lady behind the counter was rude and a little scary Jack made me feel very comfortable. I get completements on the work he did all the time. He captured the likeness so well, I am very proud of my decision to get it done.

I have had 2 tattoos done by Jack and I think that they are fantastic. I love showing them off. My husband had 1 done by Jack and gets compliments all the time. I would recommend anyone wanting a high quality tattoo to go to Ink Stainz.
