Good 2x a Year

Here is the thing with Chocolate Soup - twice a year, when they have a sale, their smocked dresses are cheaper than anywhere else. During regular times, they are insanely overpriced. Also, I found an outfit there (brown pants, pink shirt, matching hat) for $50.00. I later found the EXACT same set (I checked the brand name) at Fred's Dollar Store for $10.00. SAME BRAND. When you find things like that, it makes you not ever want to go back - even for the sales of smocked dresses.

NICE store

Great store. Very friendly staff to me. I buy ALL my girls' smocked dresses from here. I LOVE catching them on sale. Casual outfits are overpriced, though.

not really all that

I found my little boy a 3 peice suit (shorts) for 20 bucks but it was the same price in macys which is were the get some of the clothes I have seen the same clothes not much of a mark down sometimes higher than department stores when they post it as a sale funny huh!!!

• Pros: might find a good deal
• Cons: over priced clothes same in dillards and macy

I love it!!!!

Although the prices look high, the clothes are actually not that much. They always have some sort of sale going on that saves you $ on the clothes. Plus the clothes are usually unique. I can get stuff there that I cannot find anywhere else. They have bloomers for the babies and you can get the name or initials on them. I love this store, yes they seem expensive. But if you get the things that you cannot find anywhere else then it is worth it!

• Pros: Unique selection, always a sale worth noting, extra sale with mailing list
• Cons: Can only get store credit for returns

Overpriced!

Yes, they have a huge selection of clothing for both boys and girls but look closer and you'll see that many of the items on the racks are available at discount retailers MUCH cheaper! The sales sound incredible, until you realize that they marked everything WAY up and then down and call it a "sale". Most of the clothing is ridiculously overpriced and I have never found their customer service to be great, either. After about 3 trips of finding the same issues each time, I have decided not to go back. I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone, to be honest.

• Pros: None really.
• Cons: Overpriced, racks are jam-packed, readily available brands marked WAY up, sales are NOT really sales.
