Side Porch Worth a Visit. Visited the Side Porch for the first time in years. Understood it was under new management. When we first arrived tried to park in the handicap space, went up the ramp and rang the bell as instructed. No one ever came to the door. Back down the ramp and parked in front. Had to climb a few stairs which is difficult for me. When we got inside I told the male owner what had happened. He was a bit uncaring and said, "oh, that bell only works sometimes". Well, fix it. I am sure you have other customers who need the space. By the way, there is only one handicap space.

On a different note, the steaks were fabulous. We both ordered filets medium rare. The filets were cooked perfectly. The baked potato was fluffy and moist. Salad could have used a bit more veggies. I can buy lettuce any where. The croutons at the beginning were good and the rolls served with dinner were ok. We would definitely go back again. Hopefully the bell will be fixed this time.

A++++. my husband and i tried this place for the first time. it was great! the service was great. you could tell they've been there a while and have a lot of "regulars" that visit. the manager talked with everyone like he'd known them for years. it was a good feeling.

my husband and i both got a side salad, 12oz filet and baked sweet potato. everything was awesome!!!! i am very, very picky on how my steak is cooked. they hit the nail on the head!!! it was soo juicy and tender (mine was cooked med-well....that's hard to get just right, most places burn my steak)

i definitely recommend this place!!!!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!. We, too, eat at Side Porch often and have for quite some time. The food is great- especially the "croutons' they bring before the meal! We actually LOVE that they have removed the smoking section. We eat there more often and our friends who have children are more likely to go with us because they don't have to worry about small children inhaling smoke. This is a great restaurant. I would recommend it to anyone!

Chuck. I have eaten at the Side Porch for several years. I have always enjoyed their food, the only problem that I have is that they have removed the smoking section of the resturant and it is a non-smoking resturant now. For that reason only I do not eat there naymore.
