Do not take your dog here!!!!. I took my dog to board here for five days, upon picking her up I immediately had to take her to a groomer to be cleaned. I refused an exit bath at Pleasant View Pet Resort because I normally bathe my dog myself. My dog was covered in urine and feces and was absolutely NASTY. The groomers were shocked that someone allowed my dog to live with urine and feces in her coat. I left her at the groomers for THREE HOURS to be cleaned. My clothes were equally soiled from handling her. I went home to unpack her toys where we're also covered in feces and urine. I was shocked that someone did not have the common courtesy to bathe a dog that was covered in waste. After paying for my boarding ($100) and grooming after at a local groomer ($40), I was then not so surprised three days later when my dog was violently ill. After a trip to the vet ($130) my dog was given special food for sick dogs, an antibiotic shot, antibiotic pills, and various tests to clean up her bacterial infection I can only assume she acquired at Pleasant View Pet Resort. I would never take my dog back here and would hope no one else does either. It is not a good environment for dogs and is obviously not sanitary. I am outraged that someone would find it acceptable to allow a dog to live in waste and consider themselves a provider for pets. Please do yourself and your fluffy friend a favor and do not take them here!

Excellent place to board. I have boarded my variety of dogs with Pleasant View Pet Resort for about the past 10 years. Most stays have been for 5 to 7 days but some have been for 10 or more days. The staff is professional and caring of the dogs. Their groomers do a great job as well....taking care of all the details. We as owners have a responsibility to our pets so common sense says you would not send your child off camping without a sleeping bag, why would you send your dog off to be boarded without bedding and toys? You have the option of bringing your own food if your pet is on a special diet. They always take care to dispense any medications your dog may need, but again, be sure to bring whatever is necessary for your pet to take their meds. They certainly get two thumbs up from me.

Excellent Groomer-Friendly Staff. I bring my miniature schnauzer to Pleasant View because they consistantly do a good job. They are quick to accomodate special requests. All the little details get attended to like the ears, eyes, and anal glands. They also give good advice should you have a question. They were able to answer my questions about my schnauzer's sensitive skin. I have never boarded my schnauzer so I don't have any input onthis gacility as opposed to any other. There have been times that I have gone and they are taking the other dogs out to the "play ground" and playing in the water. Seems they really care.

not recommended. When I saw their website, I thought "wow". I didn't check out the facility before deciding to board my two dogs (big mistake) . When you walk in, you're blasted with a strong dog odor.....but since they have two large GS dogs in front, I didn't think too much about it. I got the top of line package with grooming included. My two kids stayed for 4 days. I had to bring my own bedding and toys which were optional. Upon picking up my kids, I immediately noticed that their toenails looked the same. They took them in the back and cut them while I waited. While walking to the car, they both peed about a minute straight (which told me they hadn't been out in a while). They smelled ok but their bedding was soaked and smelled horrible. I had to leave the bedding and stuffed toys in my garage until I could get around to putting through the laundry. You never really know how good your pets are being taken care and giving the business the benefit of doubt, but this left me feeling "never again". Since then I met a lady who expressed the same about this "resort" but she did what I should have........turned around and left within 5 minutes of walking in the door and cancelling her plans. More businesses need to understand that pets are like our children and should be treated as such.
