Best Mexican north of the Rio Grande. I absolutely love this restaurant. It is without a doubt my favorite restaurant of any kind in Memphis, not just Mexican. I tell anyone who will listen about Guadalupana every chance I get. The food is excellent, the prices are very good, and the ambiance is exactly what I'm looking for. It is certainly not fancy or romantic - it does feel like a cafeteria just as someone else here noted - but if I turn my back to the front door I get the feeling that I'm in Latin America and far far away from Memphis.
