For Memphis ?. most anything different is a welcome change, but this place and maybe Wally Joe are only two memphis places that are different and upscale...the food is well above average in comparison to the local crapp available...but frankly I've had better food at Jarrett's, another suburban locally owned place that serves upscale cuisine but not at these prices...I hate to say it as well that I've had just as good or better quality and variety of truly fresh fish at Bonefish Grill !

Very good meal. The meal was an experience offering all the flair of a four star restaurant. The entree portions were surprisingly large for the type of restaurant. The buffalo and the lamb were incredible and I would recommend the lobster pancake appetizer.

It was a bit overpriced, but the unusual entrees may be the cause. They did not seem to turn the tables in a night, so it made it a very pleasant dining experience. I did not find them to be any higher than restaurants in other cities. Entrees about $30 and appetizers and desserts around $10. My group found it well worth the experience.

Magnificent. This has become my favorite restaurant in town. The food is outstanding. I try something new every time and I've yet to have a main course that I didn't like. And the desserts are soooo good! The service is very friendly and attentive.

Dine in style at Chef Jensen's popular, innovative eatery, one of the best in Memphis.. The Scene
Erling Jensen's is one of the most expensive restaurant in town, but it's also one of the best. Revered as the Great Dane of Memphis, chef-owner Erling Jensen, a native of Denmark, has been delighting local diners for years. Well-heeled customers pack this East Memphis restaurant nightly, where service is second to none. This place is well worth the splurge.

The Food
Jensen classics include foie gras-topped filet mignon and experimental dishes using wild game. Silken soups, inventive side dishes, and tour-de-force desserts are just a few of Jensen's other culinary accomplishments. Finish the meal with an incredible, icy sorbet.

Dish to Die For
The pecan-crusted grilled lamb is exceptional.

WAY OVER THE TOP.... I need to take these folks to New Orleans, and maybe San Fran...don't confuse high prices with great food...

Best dessert in town. Wow! This was absolutely the best meal I've ever had. From the lamb to the Chocolate Proposal, I would go back a hundred times.

The elegance of Erling's. This is by far the nicest and best dining experience in memphis. It is a bit expensive, but it is Fine dining and the prices should be assumed for this reason. Awesome seafood and the best service by far. A very extensive and exciting wine list. A must try when you come to Memphis!!

Nice Business Dinner. OK atmosphere. Sort of a "housy - living room - type"atmosphere. The food was good, decent size portions. I would go back. nice setting for a business dinner.

"Jensen's" wayover the top. Offensively expensively ostensibly yet unobtrusively borders on thievery....but the food is more than decent....but Alain Ducasse he's not.. Au revoir, mes amis
