Worst Experience Ever! DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!.
I had never been to A Fitting Place, but heard that this is THE place to go to find a bra that fits properly. I never feel like I wear the right size bra, so was looking forward to being properly "fitted" for the first time.
I walked into the store for the first time and first saw a podium with a sign that stated "Please Sign in", so that is just what I did. What happened next felt like it was out of a horrible TV show. I was never greeted and never asked what I could be helped with. A saleslady looked at the list and said "I can take you." I was then led back to a dressing room. As we were walking through the store to the dressing room, I told the lady that this was my first time there, and she said "Kind of weird, huh?"
We walk into the dressing room, I take off my shirt, she takes ONE measurement, around my ribcage, still not asking what I am there for / what I am looking for, and walks out of the dressing room. She looks back at me before she goes and says "You don't want black do you?"
What takes place next can only be described as the biggest waste of time I have ever experienced. There was never a real "fitting", and she never told me what my correct size was. She brought several different bras for me to try on (good thing that was what I was there for, as she never asked me) - most of them not in a style I would like, and not in the same size. She put bras on me that obviously did not fit (I am no expert - but these bras were way too small), and when I asked her questions about how a bra was supposed to fit, she seemed very confused.
In the end, I just picked the least uncomfortable bra to buy and left as quickly as possible.
For a store that is supposed to be "experts" in a proper fit.... I was VERY disappointed. I will NOT be coming back to this store ever again!

Even great for small women. I am a small woman and bra shopping can be very frustrating. I want undergarments that are comfortable and move with me. I am also athletic and comfortable in my own skin so don't want to surgically change my body to buy bras but was just about to that point because I thought I'd never find a comfortable bra that fit me. The folks at "A Fitting Place" know what they are doing, whatever your size.
good.
I'm really picky about how my undergarments fit so even if the sales person says "wow, that fits" doesn't mean I'm going to buy it since it might not feel right or soemthing about it bothers me. One thing that is nice: if your hubby or significant other likes to buy you lingerie or undergarments, they keep a card that has what you've purchased and in what size, and they can help your loved one buy gifts for you that are likely to fit. By looking at the card and the brand/style, the more experienced staff can make recommendations on similar fitting garments.
I go here when I want something not available elsewhere. They offer quality

Highly Recomended.
I have been going to the fitting place ever since I had cancer. From the very first time which was after surgery, I went and bought a camisole and they fitted me for my prothesis and bras. I have gone back several times for bras and have had nothing but the best service and very personalble.
I work retail myself, and I know what good customer service is. I would recomend this store to anyone that has had breast cancer or needs a special sized bra or undergarment.
Source of hard-to-find brands; helpful customer service.
I've had decent customer service at A Fitting Place, not like the other reviewer. If you don't know how a bra is supposed to fit (most women don't how to buy the right sized bra), then it's worth it to visit once. They don't have a lot of sales where the bras are discounted like the department stores (or discount dept stores like Kohls), however, you'll find brands here you can't find elsewhere. Plus they're likely to have something in your size.
Their selection of swimwear is unbelievable. Having a hard time finding a good fitting suit? While you'll not get a discount price at A Fitting Place, you'll have a great selection and you can find suits in sizes that other stores frankly don't carry. This is especially important in the larger sizes and they carry them! You don't have to be a tooth pick to shop here either. It might be more expensive up front, but how much does it cost you to order a suit through the mail or on-line and have to return it?
They carry mastectomy bras and wigs for those going through chemotherapy or those who like wigs. Their shop is bigger than it used to be. Service does vary from time to time. Overall, their staff is sort of friendly. Some more than others.

I go here when I want something not available elsewhere. They offer quality products at department store prices--no worse than you'd do at Dillard's. Plus their selection is pretty good.
decent stuff, HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!. Had issues with bras bought there within 2 weeks, went to take them back, then the woman refused saying they had been in a washer, LIKE she had lived with us and saw it. They werent, she didnt want to be responsible for a bad product AND the fact they found out that the lady there before had measured me wrong.. refused to exchange the bra OR give credit. BEWARE. I had been a customer since 2002.. and THAT alone didnt matter.. GHeeshe.. NO Thanks.. BEWARE the arent helpful, BUT presumibly phsycics!!!!
