History – The Japanese Tranquility Garden is a highlight of the pristine park, with neatly manicured trees, a serene pond teeming with fat, neon-orange goldfish, and red footbridges and inviting meditation benches. Kids can have fun feeding the fish. Elsewhere on the MBG grounds, a short hike or tram ride delivers guests to such botanical wonders as Daffodil Hill, a yellow sensation each spring when the bulbs are in bloom. Separate, formally-landscaped gardens devoted to dozens of varieties of roses, daylilies, and iris, Tennessee's state flower, provide hours of enjoyment for everyone…
