Visit El Porton.... you will not be dissappointed!. My wife and I were traveling and spent the night in Memphis. Looking for a good place to eat, we just "happened upon" El Porton. We had an excellent meal, served in a relaxing atmosphere. Add to that a Marguarita that was "drop dead" good and very reasonable prices and you have the formula. We recomend El Porton to every one we encounter that is going thru Memphis. GREAT FOOD...GREAT DRINKS... GREAT PRICES.... Just wish we had a reason to go thru Memphis more often.

Very tasty menu and good service.. Authenic Mexican cusine. Large portions and you never leave hungry. Unless on a Friday or Saturday night there is usually very short wait, sometimes no wait at all.

Best Restaurant in Memphis. The best tasting food ever. HUGE portions(dont listen to that other person who said they have small portions, she's probably huge). The cost you cannot beat for the quality and quantity you recieve. The people at the Germantown location are lively,freindly, and bring great service. The only con might be the atmosphere...in that the tables and boothsare kinda cheap with soccer ball lights lol! Only at the G'town location. My personal favorites are the Fajitas, the No. 1 and La Preferida...you gotta try it.

Carnitas are terrific. My wife and I eat at the El Porton in Germantown, and we've never been disappointed. Everything on the menu is good, with large portions, and a real value for the money. The wait staff is usually very good too.

Editorial Review. If you're on a budget there's no better place to load up on cheap margaritas and tasty Mexican munchies.

El Porton #1. My boyfriend and I eat at El Porton about once a week. I don't know of too many places that you can get a pitcher of Mexican beer for $7.50 and the cheese dip...wow. When you order a dinner with chicken, it's all white meat and the average dinner runs about $6.50 and you won't leave hungry.

SUPERGREAT!. I have found El Porton Mexican Restaurant to be a great experience. Fine Ingredients, good service, and convenient locations make this restaurant a great choice for Mexican dining.

Price is right. My wife and I have eaten at this location. The service was extremely good and the food was terrific. I would recommend this as a must!

BaratoMexicano. Nice restaurant, lower cost, mid-range Tex-Mex.

Couple of locations help. Outdoor patio in Cordova is nice.

where have you been!. El Porton is an okay mexican place.But it is not the best value..They hardly ever give out coupons anymore.
