This place is great!!!. This is one of those places in Memphis that you have to go. The food is good, the people are great. You can get anything on your pizza and a little history from the owner. The whole things is a no hassel operation that is top notch! Try it, you'll love it!!!!
AMAZING!!!. The thing I love about Memphis is that I am always finding unique places like Broadway Pizza. The place has such character and the feel of soul and the south surrounds you. Sit down and have a yummy combo salad, wash it down with a sweet tea and follow it with the best pizza in Memphis. Is it healthy...hell no! But it sure is flavorful and tasty. Great service is also the key to this place that looks like a dump from outside. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!
Best Pizza in Memphis. I have been eating Broadway Pizza every since I can remember. When I was a very small child, this is where I wanted to go for my birthday. It was the highlight of my childhood life. And now, being 26 years old, I still love this pizza. If you have never tried it, Try it, It's great!!!!!
Bravo!!!!!..... They're total hospitality is overall anything that I've seen. My family and I are regular customers for the weekend. Also, at the school I attend we always get at least 20 pizzas to go on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Plus they have so many varities to choose from, plus each slice is piled up with meat, veggies, pineapples, and more. They top over Pizza Hut which I thought was the best pizza company in the country
Local blue-collar pizza dive keeps 'em happy with no-nonsense, down-home charm..
The Scene
Rundown and rustic, the good ol' boy, family-style atmosphere at Broadway lacks all cosmopolitan graces, unless you consider velvet Elvis paintings "uptown." Newcomers may have to endure a stare-down from the staff, but once you settle, get a paper plate and hear "sweetie" from the middle-aged waitress, things seem harmless enough.
The Food
Broadway's food is as plain and straightforward as its surroundings, but that's what people love about this place. Pizza is prepared on wafer-thin crusts which do little rising in the oven. Toppings are typical; if you're not adventurous, the basic pepperoni pie does the job. Vegetarian pizza, decked with plenty of toppings and two types of cheese, could lose the canned mushrooms and be almost perfect. If you want something other than pizza, don't go to Broadway. Standard burgers are tasteless, the sandwiches are make-at-home basic and soups would make Campbell's proud.
Underrated. This place is, and has always been, one of the best pizza places I have experienced. It should be rated higher, especially over pizza hut.
