4 stars???. tacos are better at taco bell. Although the guacamole was presented well, the texture was poor and difficult to eat. Too many jalenpenos to enjoy the dish. Cheese enchiladas were goopy and not pleasant to eat.
Editorial Review by Christy Buena. Eatery features authentic Mexican cuisine, south of the border decor and daily happy hour.
Great, inexpensive food. My wife and I have eaten here regularly for at least 10 years, and we love it! Great food, good service, amazingly low prices. The lunch and dinner specials are excellent, and the cheese dip is delicious. I always get the lunch special #5 (chicken enchalida, rice, beans) and always go away stuffed. If you're there at lunch time, keep your group small (4 or less) and be sure to take a number.
"Cheese ". The food and drinks are great. And if you love cheese they definitely don't skimp here.
unfriendly waitstaff. If you are looking for a restaurant that treats their guests with respect and kindness then you have do NOT want to eat here. They were rude to my face and sat several parties in front of me while I watched. Do not bother with this one. Not worth it!!!
The BEST Mexican place in Memphis. My family LOVES this restaurant. Not only do they serve all the traditional Mexican favorites, they serve a chicken soup that's THE best we've ever tasted. It is a full meal, so don't order another entree to go with it. The soup has chuncks of chicken breast, fresh avocado, rice, cilantro...you gotta try it!
