Great Shop/Wonderful Artists/Incredible Atmosphere.
What a great tattoo shop!
I've gotten work from David Evans and Jake Meeks, both amazing artists. David worked on one piece for me for over a year. He's always pleasant and great to talk to, just like all of the staff at UA. I've had work done at other shops and they just don't add up. There is a reason they have been #1 all of these years. They are professional, the shop is clean and the artists are truely talented.
If you are considering getting a new tattoo, I highly recommend Undergound Art.
Very happy customer.
Had a 10+ hour piece done here. Very professional and these guys/gals are artists. Very happy I went to Underground Art. David Evans hooked me up with a very unique, kick ash piece of art that I will cherish forever.
For most of us who are heavily tattooed we have been in or around several tattoo shops and have met artists who really care about their clients ideas, opinions and concerns and try to give them a positive tattoo experience that results in a quality custom tattoo. Then again occasionally we run into artists with huge egos that speak to their clients in a condescending manner and act like they arte doing you a favor as you spend the hard earned money you worked all week for. Unfortunately Underground Art employs the latter. I was in the shop a few weeks ago and actually heard the artist in the front room brag about intentionally screwing up one tattoo with shotty line work on one customer and how he supposedly hides phallic designs in his customers tattoos. Needless to say I left without getting any work done.I have been in many shops around the country and gotten plenty of work done and would recommend that if you want a good custom tattoo from a high caliber professional artist, stay away from Underground Art.
Great Experience...first timer.
I got my first tattoo last week at Underground Art. I was VERY nervous, but it was a good experience. They require that you come in for a consultation and pay a deposit before making an appointment to have the work done. They gave me an estimate of $150-$200 and 2.5 hours to do what I wanted (I came in with a design, rather than choosing from one of their books). Vanessa did an amazing job. She was professional, pleasant, and (relatively) painless. The shop has a great "vibe" and was very clean. Final cost was $170 and took about 2 hours. I'm pleased with the tattoo and the instructions I recieved about taking care of it. All around, this was a pleasant experience! I highly recommend this shop and Vanessa, in particular.
Fantastic tattoo and piercing shop.
Hands down, the best shop around. Super clean, friendly, great prices, phenomenal work. i've seen a lot of other shops in and around in this city and this place is by far the best.
