Not what I expected. I went to a large group dinner last night and was very disappointed in the food. The service and atmosphere were fine. The tarragon aioli salad dressing had zero flavor whatsover, the bread was bland, the spanakopita was also flavorless. My entree (filet mignon) was served cold with a few hot spots in the potatoes it was sitting on. My neighbors ordered various seafood dishes and the smell was overwhelmingly strong. (Smelly seafood=not fresh) The chocolate souffle was dry and burnt in places. I probably would not be willing to give them another chance, especially at those prices. Thankfully, my meal was paid for by a pharmaceutical representative.
perfect. Perfect every single time. The food is spectacular, the service is not overbearing but attentive, and the ambiance ties it all together. If you have an occasion where everything needs to be perfect - don't worry - this is the place.
Fantastic French. Quite simply the best meal I've had in Memphis. Make sure to have the heavenly chocolate souffle for dessert.
French-fusion cuisine served in an intimate setting for nearly a quarter of a century..
The Scene
Tucked inside a quaint Queen Anne home in midtown, this French-inspired restaurant makes a great backdrop for the perfect romantic evening. The cozy setting and top-notch service segues perfectly with the impeccable cuisine.
The Food
The seasonal menu changes to include tempting dishes like smoked pork chops with sauteed sweetbreads and chanterelles topped with sherried fig sauce. Rosemary-marinated rack of lamb is a whirlwind of succulent flavors. The swordfish with wild mushroom demi-glace marries perfectly with the roasted corn custard. Desserts like dense flourless chocolate cake and homemade ice creams are incomparable.
