Memphis >Rawtani Pallavi V Md
If I could give this less than one
star, I would.
At least THREE times, appointments I made were not honored. Actually showed up to one appointment, and the office was NOT OPEN! Guess they decided to take a holiday! I left a note and no one got back to me.
Forget about retrieving any records once you go to her. They still have not given me my records, and I have called and they assured me they would fax them but never did, no matter how many times I called.
Did I also mention that they will tell you over the phone that they will call in a prescription, then don't? What kind of operation are they running here? You want to trust your HEALTH with a Dr. like THAT???
Incredibly unprofessional. I would not trust a Wal-Mart that gave such poor customer service. DON'T go to this DR.!
Dedicated & extremely concerned.
I feel as though I have to trust a doctor's ability in order for them to wait on me, otherwise, I am gone.
After my primary doctor passed away, I was very reluctant to get another one, because I didn't feel that there was another compassionate doctor around, who could take of my medical needs and treat me as a human being that had feelings as well.
I have worked in several hospitals for many years and have seen Dr. Rawtani all the time. I never considered her as being my primary care physician until the need arosed. A friend and co-worker recommended that I go to her and check her out for myself. I did and I am so glad that I did.
Dr. Rawtani has taken the time to discuss my diagnosis and give her recommendations as far as to what treatments was best for me. The office is best equipped with the necessary tools needed as well.
The overall thing about Dr. Rawtani is that, she is not only concerned with my care, but has concerns about my son's care and he's not her patient.
The people with the negative reviews must have wandered into the wrong office and not Dr. Rawtani's office.
good review. Dr Rawtani has treated me since 1998 and I am very pleased with her professionalism and she has always taken time with me. I consider her an excellent doctor as well as a good friend. I am very pleased to refute negative opinions about this great person.
Concerned Doctor - Previous Reviews are totally off base!.
I am really confused with the prior reviews. Dr. Rawtani is a great doctor who seems to really care about my health and well being. It seems completely odd to me that anyone would have the opinions listed below. I guess these patients must have misinterpreted things, I don't know, it just is totally the oposite from any experience I have had with her.
I guess all I can tell you is my story - I can say that I have had nothing but good experiences with Dr. Rawtani over the past 10 years that I have been seeing her - and everyone I have ever come in contact with at her office has had only good things to say about her. She cares about preventing health problems before they start and does a good job explaining things to me about my health issues when I have questions. She is definitely serious about her work and about making sure I do what I'm supposed to do to keep healthy - but I like that - it shows me that she really cares about me and not just about giving me medicines and sending me on my way. Yes, ther has been a time or two that I have waited 30 minutes or so to see her, but I am willing to wait a little bit to see someone who I can trust with my health and the health of my family.
I definitely recommend Dr. Rawtani to anyone who is reading this (and I have also recommended her to many of my own friends and coworkers in the past).
Money churning Doctor. If you want to wait for 1 hour and 59 minutes to see Doctor Rawtani and be misdiagnosed, ignored and quickly scheduled to come back for unnessary followups, this is the Doc to see.(at 2 hours they may validate your parking). She will prescribe and diagnose whatever you tell her want as long as you are willing to let her do followup tests, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual physicals. Get my point!!!! Dr Rawtani is lazy, her ability to diagnose is overshadowed by her greed for money or she really went to medical school and is in the statistic of being a really bad Doctor. Enter at your own risk and wait, wait, wait......
The worst Dr. I have ever been to. I wish I had seen the prior comments before I went to her. She is so heartless and she acts as if you are tying her time up when you come for a office visit. She rushes you out with out giving you any feedback or details of any of your concerns. I was wrongly diagnosed and given medication by her a few months prior. I went to the office for my annual a few weeks ago and she acted as if she did not feel like doing annuals that day(keep in mind I had scheduled an annual for that day), so they checked something else that was less timely that they misdiagnosed me on months earlier and said they will do the annual another time. After she told me they were going to schedule an MRI I wanted to ask her or her assistant questions about it they said that I will have to wait because they were busy with another patient. They sent messages back and forth through a lady that works in the office all while I was sitting in the room. The office worker seems like she was fed up becase she knew that the Dr. should have been in there talking to me and should of told me the info herself instead of not saying anything to me. Then she told her to tell me just come back in two weeks. It was just so unproffesional and a waste of my day off work. I had already sat in the office waiting 2 and a half hours before being called back and there was only one other person waiting in the office when I arrived. The total time that I saw the Dr. in the room was about 2 minutes and she left out having me waiting and clueless. Please do not waste your time and money on this unprofessional Dr.
As someone who had just recently moved to Memphis, I was without a primary care physician. A few months after I moved here, I discovered a lump in my lower back by the base of my spine- an ailment that quickly began to cause me constant discomfort and worry. Not knowing who to go to, I contacted my insurance company, who referred me to Dr. Pallavi Rawtani. Not only was she curt and unpleasant in our initial meeting, but was completely unwilling to even answer my questions. She suggested an MRI and told me the soonest I could get one was about a week later (because they had to submit documentation to my insurance company). The night before my MRI appointment, I was contacted by the outpatient facility and was told that Dr. Rawtani had made no efforts to properly schedule my appointment. That she had never even taken the time to contact my insurance provider for pre-approval. I immediately attempted to get in touch with her and was given the complete runaround. She was unsympathetic and completely incapable of handling the situation.
All-in-all, from every aspect, this woman is a horrible doctor. If it were up to me, her license would be revoked at once.
I beg you not to go to this doctor.
Horrible doctor who doesn't care - STAY AWAY!!.
How do you get all the way through medical school and still turn out to be a heartless and uncaring towards your patients? Ask Dr. Rawtani - she knows the answer.
This doctor made me wait over an hour to see her then rushed through my questions, forgetting most of them before my 10 minute appointment time was even up. She disagreed with everything I said and refused to write me the scripts I have been taking for years. I had a horrible rash that had started spreading and she didn't even care to look at it. Needless to say, the rash is still present weeks later. To add insult to injury she attempted to SELL me a vitamin program that she gets a cut of whenever some poor sap buys the useless rubbish.
Seeing Dr. Rawtani is a waste of time and money. As others have said, you will not get the attention you deserve and most likely won't receive any kind of treatment at all. When her office called and tried to get me to come in for a follow-up (follow-up to WHAT?!) I flatly told them, "No, and don't call me anymore. Dr. Rawtani is fired."
If allowed, I would like to recommend the physician who I chose to replace Rawtani: Dr. Garbarini. He's warm and thoughtful and will listen to every question you might have. He promised to help heal any and everything that's wrong with me and is the perfect example of the bedside manner Rawtani lacks.
Not recommended. You will NOT receive the care which you deserve. You will not receive attension you deserve. You will NOT receive the feedback which you deserve. Find someone else.
I do not recommend this Doctor. Dr. Rawtani is NOT a patients doctor. I had no confidence in her or her advice. Find another doctor.
