Rude employees - even outside of the salon. I live in Harbor Town and was shopping at Miss Cordelia's today when one of the Rando's employees bizarrely asked about my outfit. She is an older, heavy set woman with poorly dyed blond hair who spoke partially in Spanish.

She wanted to know if I'm in the military. I am a surgeon and was wearing scrubs. I explained that I'm a doctor and that they were scrubs. She then looked at my hair, smirked, and said that she should really do my hair.

I was offended by her unsolicited assessment of my hair, especially as I had been operating on children all morning, but I politely ignored her.

My husband and I bought some lunch and sat outside unpacking our bag. She walked by with another lady. To me, she pointed out our chips and said that I should really be eating better. To the lady with her, she said, in Spanish, that the chips are why I'm so fat. She then walked into your salon.

Who, in their right mind, would call a stranger fat in public? Did she assume that everyone is ignorant? I speak Spanish and I heard her perfectly.

In case you're wondering, I am a sized 10 and I work out 5 - 6 days per week - I wouldn't clarify myself as fat. I live very close by and I had considered trying Rando's for the convenience. After the employee's incredible rudeness, I will never visit the salon.

Apparently, the rudeness mentioned in previous reviews extends even beyond the confines of their salon.

Miss old crew with Monica as manager. The two black ladies that work there are rude. There are one or maybe two girls in there who can cut hair. Guarantee you there will be high turnover here as I can already see a drop in buisness. I wish so bad that this place had better management. I drive to midtown now to get my haircut.

Why did they bring back that pig Monica?. I was getting my hair done here for over two years with great service until they brought back that Monica lady. Not only was she rude, but she ruined my hair.

the real hairstylists are back!. Almost ten years I had the same person do my hair(Monica), one day she was gone. I asked the new manager several times if she knew her number, any way I could get in touch with her. Always rudely she would say no, I gave up. Driving by I see Monica in the window! She is back, I am happy! Someone needs to fly a banner behind a plane to let everyone know...

Good experience. I moved out of town a year ago and just recently moved back. I despertly needed my hair cut. I went to randos for the first time and was surprised when i walked in to friendly people. I didnt have to wait and was pleased with my experience. I will be back. Thanks ladies.

love the salon but HATE BRENDA. i used to work over near the salon & one day decided that my hair was too long & this would be a convienient place to go. i went once for a hair cut & then again for some color & BOTH times i sat in the chair wondering why there are people at businesses that are like BRENDA! i mean.....does the owner not care how his customers && employees are being treated & what their experiencing in his salon. well anyhoo, it's been a few months & the other day i called to see if i could get an appt & brenda answered the phone [as always...so RUDE] & she informed me that my girl [kelley] no longer worked there. so sad. i guess kelley finally got tired of putting up w/the hassle brenda always gave her & said the heck wit!

The Manager is So Rude and Unprofessional!!!. I get my hair done here by a GREAT hairstylist but EVERYTIME I go Brenda (the manager) is so RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! She talks to the other stylists like they are dogs and makes these remarks under her breath but so EVERYONE can hear. It really makes the time there so unenjoyable! I always leave feeling so sorry for the other stylists and I wish the owner of this place would let her go. I am sure they would do SO MUCH better business if she wasn't there. She makes the whole process a nightmare!!!!!! If my hairstylist James wasn't so awesome there is NO way that I would go there.....and the only reason being....BRENDA!

Don't upset Brenda, the manager!. I used to go to Rando's, but no longer. I've heard of several incidents involving Brenda, who by the way, WAS my hairdresser. So, now, I go to Midtown. Too bad, Ken Rando. At this rate, you will be losing quite a few clients... I already know of five.
