Great Bar!. We had a great time at this bar. It was lots of fun nice to get away from all the in Memphis.
Great Staff, Great Music, Great Fun. We were in Memphis for the American Idol tryouts, met Pam and Terry at another location, they suggested Sleep Out Louie's and they were right! We had a blast singing along with Pam and Terry, the staff was courteous and the food was good (I ate chicken strips off the appetizer menu). The place was full of charm and we can't wait to go back!
fun.
a must,,, fun place to hang out and eat and drink and listen to music.
nice service. lots of great southern people to meet.
its O. K., but not the best. We normaly go the the Flying Saucer, but we decided to try something different. It was different but We decided the old place was alot better. Food EH? its alright, average.
my Louie's experience. Louie's is a great place for those who are not looking for the typical tourist hangout. Summers outside on the patio at night with bands and an excellent bottle of wine are the greatest. I loved this place even in college and go every time I am in Memphis
Fashionable patrons and a great happy hour distinguish this quaint, downtown bar and grill..
The Scene
Situated on the ground floor of 88 Union Center, midway between the landmark Peabody Hotel and the Mississippi Riverfront, Sleep Out Louie's is a convenient downtown meeting place. Beautiful people sip wines or throw back beers, and nibble on the restaurant's oysters and baked brie. Sandwiches, po' boys and burgers are also on the menu. The occasional live music act livens things up. A small, covered patio fills up quickly on warm summer nights as patrons kick back and relax.
The Booze
There's a fully stocked bar, but Sleep Out Louie's real draw is its wine selection. Daily happy hour starts at 5pm.
Worth a second chance. Went to Sleep Out before a Redbirds game, this place is in a great location before or after the game away from the crazyness on Beale and has everything that's required but the food is pretty standard. We had several different sandwichs on the menu they were good but no wow's. A stand out item like great cheese sticks, onion rings, a specialty sandwich etc., would help. Ok there were ties on the wall, who cares.
