Memphis >
North End
Post-concert party animals and rowdy sports spectators turn their revelries up a notch at this downtown Memphis tavern..
The Scene
At the corner of Jackson and the Main Street trolley line, in the shadow of the great gleaming Pyramid Arena, lies the North End. Laid-back and loose, the bar's atmosphere makes it a favorite spot for those looking to whoop it up after concerts or sporting events in the downtown area.
The Booze
Get a bottomless pitcher of your favorite brew and share it with friends. For those without a taste for beer, well drinks and cocktails are plentiful and creative.
While You're There
If you're too drunk to drive, you can always hop on a slow-moving trolley at the corner of Jackson Avenue, and watch the sights and sounds of the city go by.
mui calente`. Location, location near the pyramid, good atomsphere, fast service, fantastic tamales and the best fudge pie in Memphis.
People Place. Have been ordering the take out for over a year and the food has always been consistant. The people are very friendly, and are always good with children. Sandwiches are very good, the rolls that come with the dinners are fantastic!
great food. Great food for all types of people, including vegetarians. After 16 years, this is still one of my favorite places to eat when I am in Memphis.
