Great food and Kevin Paige is great entertainment!. On Fridays and Saturdays they have a fun cover band- Kevin Piage & the Amazing Flea Circus.Lots of room inside!

good food and good times. we were there and got hungry on a sunday night about 1:30 and they had no problem fixing us something to eat at that time and the food was hot and fresh and very good the french dip was as good as any i've ever had and the sauce for the raviolli was great and fresh.

Alfred's is a don't miss on Beale. Even though Alfred's isn't your typical "Blues Club" on Beale-that's what makes it awesome! Alfred's is a great place for singles to go and a great place to dance to current hits and old school favorites. The older crowd usually starts to clear out around midnight and then it gets incredibly packed. Beware of shots-they are super expensive.

Fun, Fun, Fun. We went on New Year's '06. It was very busy with a $20 cover charge, but it was New Year's. Anyway, we had a lot of fun on the top outside balcony. Drinks are definitely great. Try a "legspreader" (invented in Memphis). Their drinks are not weak like some bars you go to. Huge dance floor with great music. Anyway, great atmosphere, great drinks, great food, great service. I highly recommend.

An outdoor table at this bustling bar affords some of Beale Street's best people watching.. The Scene
With its prime placement at the usually bustling corner of Third and Beale streets, its location is one of the best things Alfred's has going for it. Sitting outside on the club's two-story patio--which overlooks the alternately lively and downright rowdy W.C. Handy Park--patrons can get sloshed nightly until 3am, or until 5am on Fridays and Saturdays.

While You're There
Local bands play throughout the week. During the daylight hours, weekday blue-plate specials draw downtown working professionals to Alfred's for a casual burger or sandwich lunch. At night, dance till dawn on Alfred's enormous dance floor (the largest on Beale Street).

Crap. Drunk bubbas dancing to techno. As to music? Memphis' worst musicians gig there.If you are serious about blues on Beale...avoid at all cost. Truly B-movie material.

Best Bar Tenders!. Alfreds always knows how to make the right pours. Whether its a walk me down, long Island, or just a Jack and coke. You never have a poorly mixed or weak Drink! And the bar is always bumping on the weekend with awesome ladies!!!!Cheers
