A good Bargin Hunting experience

I like this place. Its full of junk and junky stuff but if you look, your can fnd yourself a deal. The sales people I encountered were very nice and helpful.

Avoid at all costs. NOT worth the trip. They do bait and switches. Bait you with a sale then withdrawal it after you've chosen sale items.

EXTREMELY POOR customer service.

They had 2 large signs just outside the front doors and then signs inside advertising ALL summer clothing as 1.99. I browsed through a sale section and chose a few items. A lady who worked there came and removed the sale sign from the section I was browsing and said that the sale had JUST ended. Right then, on that day in the middle of the week in the middle of the afternoon. She switched signs on me right in front of my face and told me those items weren't for sale anymore and would be the regular marked price. There were at least 20 other sections with that same sale sign and when I asked about them, she said they were all still on sale for $1.99. Just the ones I was looking at were not.

I've been a good customer to Top Dog and World Sales Liquidators--one they should have fostered a relationship with because I usually purchase a lot and I pay with cash. I had purchased over $500 worth of $1.99 items in 2 visits from them within the month before this, as well as another $150 in plastic bags and hangers. The lady did not want me to purchase any more for that price, even though they wanted to move the merchandise off the racks to make room for fall and winter items.

I told the clerk about this and she couldn't believe it but didn't say anything to the manager or owner, whomever was there. I sent a letter describing my experience there and the owner was unresponsive.

I have told everybody I know to avoid the place. They claim to be wholesalers but they don't like to sell what they have in their store. 2 thumbs down. Boo!
