We decided we wanted to try the place because we heard they had great pizza...We arrive about 8pm...About 30 minutes passed and after having a couple rounds and an appitizer we decided to order our pizza...10 minutes after placing our pizza order we were told we had to pay a $5 cover each to stay and eat the pizza we ordered because the band was starting at 9pm...I have never had this happen where existing customers in the rest. were asked to pay for the band if we intended to stay...When we complained we were told that we could ask the bands permission to stay and eat, and if they were ok with it, then we could stay...Needless to say we tabbed out and left before getting our food...I hate that we did not get to try the pizza,..But, we wont be back after this!!!!

We Love the Pizza!. We eat at Rizzi's at least twice a month. We love the pizza! My daughter loves fried pickles, which are offered as an appetizer at Rizzi's . My only suggestions would be to switch to the circle fried pickles; they are much easier to eat, the spears tear up the inside of your mouth; and regarding the spinich cheese pizza, spread the spinich out instead of serving with the spinich piled up in one area. We're planning on ordering pizza tonight!

Rizzi's Pizza Cafe not recommended. In all honesty, we can't recommend Rizzi's Pizza Cafe. Maybe I should have stuck with pizza, but the pasta dish I ordered (spaghetti with sausage) was terrible. A big overcooked gob of pasta was mixed with a marinara sauce (sauce was o.k.) but it was covered with a blanket of cheese melted in the oven or under a heat lamp. By the time it got to me, it had cooled off. There were bone chips in my sausage. The salad was fresh and was o.k., as was the dressing.

The glassware wasn't washed properly and had ghosts of lips from the past on the rim.

Back it went without complaint and replaced.

The Italian spinach came out as a roll and had a covering of cooled off, rubbery mozzarella, was salty and did not present as Italian spinach. The tiny grapes on the plate were delicious.

The waitress had somewhat of a language challenge and was a little agressive when questioned about the Italian spinach order.

We will not return to this restaurant as even the stand up appetizer menu card had cheese stuck to it. The "music" was somewhat loud and definintely not pleasant. This restaurant is just a pizza joint with a liquor license. If you want Italian food and atmosphere, go somewhere else.

One of our favorites!. Rizzi's is the only independent pizza place in the area. While their pizzas may be more expensive than the chains, they offer a superior taste and consistent product. Great crusts, great sauce, and great topping options...all good quality too. Every guest to our house gets Rizzi's!
