The Worst: Dilday TV. This, is by far the worst place to get your TV fixed! The only thing they care about is getting your money. The charged me $467.67 to install a bulb that only cost $145. They never fixed the main problem, and when they returned the TV, it would shut off at any time, which was not one of the problems when they took it. These people only want money any way anyhow. DO NOT GO TO DILDAY TV. Instead, take your TV to Custom Electronics. The prices are more than reasonable and their customer service people are the tops! L Carlock
Bad experience with Dilday- never again. Everything about my experience with Dilday TV was bad, bad bad. Paid them to fix tv. They said it was fixed. Drove two hours to get it. Got it home, guess what - not fixed. Called them and some smartass in sales department was not helpful. Finally they told me they couldn't fix it and returned my money. Got it home and they have left off a piece of it so I have to go back and get that then try to find somebody who knows something about Samsung tvs. Wish I'd never heard of these folks. The service guy I talked to was nice, but other than that, not a good experience.
Polite and Courteous. The service provided by Dilday TV was outstanding from beginning to end. When I called I was told someone would be out before noon and that they would call so that I could meet them at my aunt’s home. As promised, I received a call 20 minutes before their arrival. Service was provided in a timely and competent manner. The service provider listened to my concerns and quickly identified the service that was needed. He was polite and patient as he showed my 84 year old aunt how to operate the new remote control. He then watched her as she followed his commands and complemented her on how quickly she learned.
Worst Service I Have Ever Experienced. Serviceman viewed a perfect picture and dignosed a problem and quote ($500) without opening the TV. He then talked a service charge ($70) out of my wife and when I called to voice a complaint the owner refused to return my phone call. I called 5 days in a row. Service manager was rude and owner obviously doesn't care about any future business--because I will shop elsewhere.

1) Since no identifying information is listed, I cannot be sure, but It seems that if we saw "a perfect picture" that our technician probably said something like "Well, it might be something simple, and it might be something that costs as much as $500." 2) There is no excuse for being rude. If the person writing this review will contact me at dilday1@aol, I will personally apologize. 3) I am unaware of any unreturned messages, even at our busiest times.
Horrible customer service! Never ever buy from them!.
I am a huge advocate of buying from local businesses, I always have been and always will be but this store is bad for local businesses. The selling point of buying from a local store is customer service, chain stores will almost always have better deals and a much larger range of displays, but for me, knowing that the person I'm buying from will answer any question I have and help me even after the purchase is why I always buy from local stores. I was the only customer in the store and told the salesman I planned on buying a TV in the next few weeks and had a couple question, he literally told me, "I am not in the business of answering questions, when you are ready to buy a TV come back and we'll talk". I was dumbfounded and told the guy, I understand if he has a store full of customers or his phone was ringing off the hook, but literally I was the only person in the store and he was sitting in a chair watching TV! I told him its that kind of attitude that keeps his store empty! He told me come back in a few weeks when Im ready to buy and he'll talk to me. I said no thanks, I'll go to Giant TV or Berclair, he replied, those guys "dont know their a** from a hole in the ground"....I said well I'll leave you with all of your customers and left. He had me so mad, it was a good thing I was on the other side of the room or I might would have crossed the line with that idiot!
Moral of the story: Buy from local stores, Berclair, Giant, any others....but never ever step foot inside Dilday, they are horrible!!

The subject of this report no longer works for us. I apologize personally to the person who posted the original comment. This is not how we do business, and I am embarassed by the entire episode.
