I was recently at the Homer Skelton Ford Olive Branch. While there I had a wonderful experience. While visiting, I had help from a salesman named Austin Watts. He was very knowledgeable and honest with the vehicles I looked at. I would recommend him and the dealership to anyone, family etc..
My husband and I visited Homer Skelton Ford recently in hopes of gaining information on a new vehicle. Luckily our salesman, Casey Keener, was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions! Let me just say. I didn't think I could get a truck. After a day and about ten different trucks. we found one that I liked and one that would work for me and my family. I went to Homer skelton ford in olive branch just to look and i was introduced to Seymour Wright . He was very easy to talk to and i can honestly say he treated me just like family . Worst dealership experience – I have been to a lot of dealerships, and this was the worst experience I had ever had at one. I called the dealership looking for a particular car which they guaranteed me they had on the lot. I even told the salesperson to go out and make sure, and told her I would call back. When I did, she told me she had gone out to see it, and it was in fact there. I drove 40 minutes to get there to see the car, and I when I got there they couldn't find the car. It wasn't on the lot. They tried to talk me into some other cars which I was not interested in. When I complained about the dishonesty, they went and got Mr. Craig Crews who was extremely rude and condescending. He knew nothing about the car I was interested in (features, packages, etc.) He talked about Memphis and how he moved to Mississippi because he got sick of the demographic in Memphis!! He apologized and said there was nothing he could do to make up for the "misunderstanding" except give me a great deal (which wasn't even close to the best price I had been offered at other dealerships) When I told him he "could" do something but that he just didn't want to, he actually admitted that was the case.
I can't even imagine how the experience would be if I were to actually go through with purchasing a car there.
There are a lot of Ford dealerships around - pick any one of them, and you will be better off.

After the test drive we did a credit check; passed that.
We then started talking about the price of the car, I thought it was too high, I wanted a lower number. I told them I wanted to leave and do more research and make sure that I was getting the best price and the best deal for myself.
I was then pressured to show that I was serious about buying the car. (I had a nite-grad class to get to as well.) To show that I had seriously interest in the car I wrote them a check. They said it was to hold the car. I told them that I did not expect for them to hold the car, but I wanted to come back and look at their cars.
I left the dealership.
They called me the next day. I told them that I was not interested in the car. I told them to throw the check away. They said they would.
I called my bank. They had already gone to my bank and cashed in the check.
I called Homer Skelton, they have refused to give me my money back! I talked to the manager there, he said, ?as far as I am concerned you bought a car.?
Later the same manager said that he would be willing to give me part of my money back, and that I should pay for them ?holding the car overnight.?
All I did was test drive a car, and do a credit check, I did not drive the car off the lot.
Now I am out of a large amount of money!
