I've been here once before for a private party, which wasn't a really fair gauge of the place. Now that the weather has turned nice, I've been three times to enjoy the patio...and I LOVE THIS PLACE. Really enjoy sitting on the patio end of the bar, the patio is great at night. Service is great, food is good. Quickly becoming my "good weather" fav place.

Our waiter was very friendly, and he checked back a few times to refill our drinks and see if we needed anything. I ordered the grilled shrimp salad. It was tasty, but honestly, they could have been a little more generous with the shrimp. The salad was a decent size, and it contained about five small (not tiny) shrimp.

Went for lunch. Very good. Go for lunch on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday and ask for the lunch special. There is no lunch special on Thursday or Friday. The special is very good, but it is not on the menu.

A nice bonus is that they have free wifi. They have many big screens and free video games in the bar area. They also have a private room for parties. When I was there today, they were hosting a tween girl birthday party with upwards of 30 people in attendance. My servers have always been friendly though perhaps more bar oriented.

Some of the most California-style Mexican food in the Memphis area. Healthy, large portions and fast service. Not the Americanized Mexican food typically found in the south.

I've been for lunch only and I must say that Maria's has been great every time. I never would have picked a place like this for a burger, but if you miss out on these burgers, you will have missed out on one of the best burgers in the mid south! Maria's gets all the details right in the burgers, so much so that you might not ever want to order any of the other delicious southwest themed items on the menu. If it was closer to my home I'd eat there every week. :)

Maria's is very good. Food is a different fare from normal Mexican..lighter..and very fresh. I've been alot and the service is always good. It does have a rowdier/sports bar feel and if your panities get in a wad really easy maybe its not the place you would like. But I love the casual laid back feel.

Fantastic service, fresh amazing food, and we enjoyed the buy one get one free margaritas on the afternoon of Dec 31st. Will visit again when I am back in town.

This is our favorite neighborhood cantina with an awesome selection of good food. My spouse and I like their food for the best value in town. We feel very comfortable there and the staff is courteous and accommodating without being obtrusive. ACES.

I do not know what the others experienced BUT this place has some of the FRESHEST Mexican food this side of the Mississippi....If you like Americanized Mexican food, then this place is NOT for you! Authentic, Fresh, Delicious are the words that come to mind. I have been to a dozen Mexican restaurants in Memphis and this place leads the pack. Now the atmosphere leaves A LOT to be desired. Honestly...when we walked up I was ready to leave...The lesson I learned after eating was- DO not judge a restaurant by its cover!! :-) I enjoyed the food and drinks...and if you desire to experience Mexican food that is flavorful and not prepackage. This is your destination!
