I guess looking at the ratings some people have had very bad food and/or service here. We always get our food to go so I can't speak to the service but the food has always been good and fresh which is hard to find around here!

How do they stay in business. I must agree with the other reviews. Lousy service. Shi??Y tasting hushpuppies ever. My dog refused to eat them. I live in Hernando and this is the bottom of the barrel for restaurants.Shame on the owner for not correcting things. I'm sure people will continue to eat there but lousy reviews will eventually catch up.

I only gave it 1 star because you have to rate it.

Good Help is Hard to Find. I know this rating is terribly poor but the restaurant deserves it for it's completely horrid service. The best thing the owner could do is "clean house." The ambiance is fairly nice and the food is pretty good. Plus, this was an evening they had a local musician playing Blues, and he was wonderful. But, the wait staff ruins everything. This is not a large restaurant and it was not really packed on this particular night, yet the staff were absent from duties. Our waitress started off on a high note by promptly getting our drink order and returning in a timely manner, but then went down hill. There was five of us at our table and only four of us were eating. Two of the people I was had cold food, and she didn't come to our table until everyone was out of beverage. The person that was not eating had go get her own drinks from the bar. The lack of beverages all around happened several times. We also ended up busing our own table by moving our plates to an empty table next to ours. If you are wondering what the deal was, our waitress was too busy ignoring us by gossiping, texting, and giggling with the other two waitresses not doing their jobs. This is not stipulation, we could actual see all of them. So, my advice if you still want to come here is come on a night when they have music and sit at their small bar and only buy drinks. The staff tends to hang out here and hopefully they can't forget what is three feet in front of them.

Great music but horrible staff!. Its sad that I have to give this place only one star, but the horrible wait staff warrants it. We came on a Sunday for the live music which was fantastic. Unfortunately the two girls working the bar side were too busy flirting with customers, talking on the phone, and updating their facebook to keep our glasses full. In hindsight she did us a favor because the soft drinks had no syrup and the tea tasted like toilet water. The food and live music is this places only redeeming qualities. Order some loaded fries and some dirty chips to satiate your hunger and enjoy live music on Sundays!

Great Calzones. I haven't eaten many things on the menu since being introduced to the one in Como years ago. I seem to be stuck on the Calzones here. The ability to customize your own with a myriad of ingredients suits my tastes just perfectly.

Having one in hernando now is a huge plus!
