Great Local Bar. If you are looking for a friendly and fun bar in downtown Memphis, this is the place for you! This is where the locals hang out and Memphis locals are very friendly. Also, the bartenders are incredible! I've never had to wait longer than a minute or two to order a drink at the bar, even when they've been insanely busy!

Island club is great, but nothing else is.. I’ll start by saying the “Amazing” Island Club really is amazing. That being said, everything else was just alright. They didn’t have Ghost River which was unfortunate for me. I won’t knock them for that really, but it seems most places in Memphis have embraced this local brewery. It surprised me that they have not. There was only one waitress working when we rolled in right after they opened on Saturday, but she was really good. She was also very nice and polite even though we couldn’t seem to decide what we wanted. My boyfriend ordered a bowl of the duck soup, and it was ok though it really tasted like vegetable beef soup. I and one of my friends ordered the “Rambo” which is a steak sandwich. It tasted fine, though nothing great. It was also a bit on the small side and it was rare. I found it odd they would make the steak on a sandwich rare by default. Most people I would assume wouldn’t want that. We also got the meatball appetizer and again it was just alright. Not bad, but really not great either. Finally we also ordered the “Amazing” Island Club and we all shared it. It was definitely the best thing we had. If we go back we are all just going to order that sandwich, but we wouldn’t order anything else again. It’s really a nice place, but other than that one sandwich there isn’t much to bring you back.
