Simple Good Food.
If there's anything wrong with Lavoro's it's that they don't have enough people going there.
Pros:
-Price for the food is good.
-Homemade food, fresh ingredients (they grow their own herbs for one.)
-Personable management
-Daily food and drink specials
Cons:
-Still looks like a KFC inside.
-No customers usually there, which can lead to inconsistent food.
Overall: This really feels like a place where the people behind it are trying hard to provide a good dining experience but have to deal with the traps of sluggish business. Give them a try.
Not worth it at all.....go to fazoli's.
if i had to choose one word.......'sad' is the first that comes to mind.
my husband and i have drove past this place several times saying we wanted to try it. we always thought it was closed because there were never cars in the parking lot.
i got one of those coupon books and decided to try it.
we were the only customers there on a sunday at about 1:30pm. we sat down and ordered:
my husband got chicken alfredo and i got shrimp alfredo.
the side salad that came with it was okay. the creamy italian dressing was great.
the main dish arrives....the noodles were under cooked. the food was bland and yet had a lot of seasoning sprinkled on the rim of the plate......probably would help if it was in the food!
the chicken was nasty, the shrimp was VERY low grade freezer section qaulity.....then...
i find a unidentified gooey green blob in my alfredo.
i was about to be sick!
i kindly asked the waitress if there was mushrooms in the dish, she said no.
i let her looked at the blob and she was stumped as well. she took it back to the cook, he was stumped. they told me to pick another entree from the menu and they would take the shrimp alfredo off our ticket.
so i picked the baked ziti......bad mistake! it was more disgusting than a store brand freezer dinner entree. i was done by this time. the waitress asked if we needed a to-go box.........really?
i told her no and asked for the ticket.
the shrimp alfredo($12.75 i think) was still on the ticket (baked ziti was $1 cheaper )
and the waitress took my "up to a $7 value" coupon instead of giving me my messed up meal free like she said!!!!
i wouldn't feed that crap to my dog!!!
the only good thing about them:
$1 drafts on friday and saturdays
sad.............
