I have been to this Macaroni Grill a few times. I enjoy the food there immensely, but I have to downgrade the store now. I decided to order online because the last time I went to dine in, it took an hour and a half for two people to eat. They said my food would be ready at 12:12, so I arrived promptly. I knew it wouldn't be ready right on schedule seeing as it was lunch rush but I didn't anticipate to wait for an extra 20 minutes to receive COLD food. The waiters were kind enough, apologizing for taking so long but I won't be returning to this restaurant. The prices are too high for cold food.
Pasta Problems.
This restaurant used to be a solid performer on a regular basis. Unfortunately the last two visits have been very unsatisfactory. Key ingredients have been omitted in certain dishes and the service has been lacking. On a prior visit the warm spinach salad was cold and did not have garlic in the salad an important component .We went last night and had to wait roughly an hour for our main entrée. When dinner did come the chicken parmesan tasted like sawdust and the pasta was not palatable.Chicken Tenders were overdone.
Unfortunately this particular location of the Macoroni Grill has significantly deteriorated in terms of quality and service.
Performing chefs cook up rustic, home-style Italian entrees at this buzzing family restaurant..
In Short
A boisterous, all-ages crowd of pasta lovers pack this energetic Italian spot, where chefs clad in white hats and red scarves keep diners wide-eyed by showing their moves in the busy open kitchen. The menu boasts family-sized portions of hearty traditional fare, from antipasti, chicken and pasta dishes to seafood, steak and wood-fired pizzas. Signature plates include grilled pork chops, lobster ravioli, and penne rustica with shrimp, grilled chicken and smoked prosciutto in cream sauce.
Just another Chili's. Think of it as "Chili's Italiano" because that's what it is....pretty bad, with almost hostile female management
Romano has it going on!!!. While living in Memphis I was fortunate to frequent Romano's Mac Grill. Service is prompt but not irritating. Always right on time. I highly recommend the Grill to anyone who delights in Italian Cooking, steaks, and service.
Can you sing in Italian?. They can here! They will sing "happy birthday" to you in Italian then give you free dessert w/it! This place is hands down the best italian I've ever had. People will go here on a weeknight with their kids...yet a couple will also go for prom! The atmosphere is great. You can watch them cook while waiting. Also, they have their OWN wine, which is delicious by the way. You can also order it to go and pull up in their designated slot and they will come out to your car and bring you your food(great service)
