Fresh Oysters on the Half Shell. The oysters were great. Also had the fried catfish Poor Boy and it was wonderful as well..Looking forward to going back on my next trip to Memphis.

Great hush puppies!. I've only been to Flying Fish once, but it was a very positive experience. I'd been wanting to go for a while but everytime I pass it during the lunch hour there is a line out the door! My husband and I went for dinner and there was no wait at all. I had the grilled catfish platter and it was wonderful! The veggies served with it were very fresh and tasty and the rice and beans had a lot of flavor as well. I got a huge side order of hush puppies for less than $2 and they were really good. The menu is quite large, so I am anxious to go back and try other things. There's lots to look at on the walls. If you donate a "Billy Bass" (that ridiculous singing fish) to the restaurant to hang on their walls, you get a free meal. It's a fun, casual, fishing atmosphere and I will definitely be back!
