This place should be shut down. We went to this horrible restaurant with a party of 9, 5 adults and 4 children. The waiter was rude and shook his head instead of speaking. The food was not great either. We will never go back. If I could give this restaurant a "NO STAR", I would.

Service is lacking. On two occasions, our server placed plates at the end of the table rather than in front of the person for whom it was meant. I assume he wanted us to "pass it down." I'm not snotty enough to expect the server to serve me from the correct side, however, I do expect my dish to be placed relatively close to me.

Rude/hostile service. Drove from Nashville for a birthday celebration with family from Memphis and Little Rock. Made reservations at a place that probably does not take reservations normally, but said they would because of the occassion and travel involved. When we arrived, made no attempt to accommodate in any way, never said they were sorry, and finally told us to get out!

8 people involved and 2 couples had driven 3 hours each to get there.

Poor customer service. We were a large party coming in from out out town. Called for reservations and were told they only made reservations for large groups, but that we qualified and they'dbe happy for us to come. When we arrived, we were met with hostility, rudeness,NO reservation and no effort on their part to work with us............. definitely a bad experience.

Atrocious service. My family recently met in Memphis to celebrate a birthday and made reservations for 8 people at Pearl's. We were told over the phone that they do not take reservations, but because we had a big party, they would take the reservation. When I arrived and said we had reservations, the host said, "no you don't!" When we explained that we spoke to a woman who took the reservation, he said we would be put at on the list behind the other 50 people who were waiting. The conversation ended with him yelling - silencing the whole restaurant - "GET OUT!" We we ended up having a lovely dinner with excellent food and flawless service at Sole across from the FedEx Forum.
