Great experience staying here. Close to the FedEx Forum, Beale Street and Main Street. Sole, in the lobby, is a great place to eat or have a drink. Excellent food and flawless service. The bed and pillows are better than home! So comfy. TIP - we priced the rooms on the Internet at 2 different sites and called the hotel. There was a $100 difference in the hotel's quoted price and Expedia. Great hotel staff.

Fantastic Place to Stay. The Westin is a great hotel. It is clean, comfortable, and spacious. As in the other reviews, the staff is friendly and accomadating. If you are looking for a comfortable hotel that is right near the action of the city, this is the hotel for you. Everything is in walking distance from it, including, live music, great food, and an exciting atmosphere. All in all, this will prove to be a top notch stay if you are in Memphis.

GREAT hotel. Very nice hotel, immediately got a good vibe from this place. RIGHT IN THE HEART of downtown, you can walk ANYWHERE from here! The FedEx Forum is just across the street, when I looked out my window, I was looking at the FedEx Forum, reading the scrolling text on the screen. Just like the other review, the basketball players must love this place because they were crawling in our hotel, as well as anywhere else we walked to downtown. (They had several games last week) It's a wonderful environment, the staff is so friendly. To get to Beale Street all you do is just turn a corner and you're there. You can walk to the Peabody, Peabody Place, Rendezvous... it's great. The valet parking was nice. It was around $20 but it was worth it. In your room you just press a button, tell them your number, tell them you want your car and once you get down to the lobby, your car is waiting for you. They helped us unload our bags and put them into our room. Everything was very convenient and nice. There was a mini-fridge in the room, but it was full with drinks already. Actually if an item was picked up off of it's designated spot for 30 seonds, you were charged for it, the only bad thing about that... There was also candy, mints, etc. but the same policy goes for that as well. This stuff wasn't cheap either! I would have liked to have had a personal fridge and a microwave, but we managed without it. The bathroom was VERY nice. Overall it was a good experience. No balconies though! I love balconies, and this hotel has none.

Graduated to the Westin from the Peabody. I have stayed at this Westin twice. It is a great hotel and the staff are very friendly. The hotel is fairly new. it is modern yet still has a warm feel to it. I have always liked the Peabody but the rooms are small and so are the bathrooms. You can always walk to the Peabody from the Westin to see the ducks:)

The rooms are spacious and bright. They have all amenities (although I think it is stupid to charge for wireless internet). The beds and showers are as great as everyone says.

The staff is very attentive and always smiling. If they don't know the answer they will find it for you.

It is very close to downtown attractions and you can walk everywhere from here. It is across the street from the Forum for concerts and b-ball games. The NBA players seem to favor this hotel as well, they were all over the place. The hotel has its back to Beale St. Someone told me it would be loud but I didn't seem to have a problem with it.

The restaurant in the hotel base is a nice upscale American restaurant called the Daily Grill. It was nice to have an actual known west-coast eatery instead of some diner style place. Their happy hour at the bar is excellent as well. There is a Starbucks in it as well, yeah!

The overnight parking is expensive but they all seem to be now.

I would definitely stay at this location of the Westin again.
