Overview
Clarence Saunders, entrepreneur and founder of the first supermarket chain, Piggly Wiggly, originally built this Georgian pink-marble wonderland as his home. Today, it serves as
a natural and cultural history museum. Exhibits include a hand-carved miniature circus, fossils, a replica of the first Piggly Wiggly and an extensive medical history display. There's even a shrunken head.
