Dining Surprises should not include Shocking Bill. While we enjoyed the extraordinary experience of this small-town dining treasure, the unexpected cost of a single "special" nightly entree at twice the average price of the regular menu entrees will most definitely affect our decision to return. If the recitation of the specials cannot also include a warning that the price will vary dramatically from what those prices printed on the menu, then patrons should proceed at their own risk and prepare to pay upwards of $100 or more than expected.

One Of The Best In Memphis. I have dined in some of the top-rated Italian restaurants in the world and I've also eaten in small Italian neighborhood places run by mom and pop. I would give Pasta Italia 3 stars in comparison to great NY/Chicago establishments. One of the best in the Memphis area. .

Italians know Food Is Life. Having traveled to Italy I soon found that Italians love to eat. They are not a people that pick at salads or snub their nose at carbohydrates. More than anything, Italians seem to understand that food is life and that eating consciously and well is one of the great pleasures afforded to humans.

When it comes to Italian restaurants in the Memphis area, Pasta Italia is in a league of there own. The service was impeccable, the ambiance was perfect, and the food was absolutely marvelous. My sincerest praise to owner and Chef Michele Doto, who has created a gem in the heart of Collierville. One notable difference in Pasta Italia is its authenticity. It’s not good Italian food served American style. Its awesome Italian food served Italian style. I felt as though I were in the finest restaurant in Italy. Thank you for a most enjoyable evening. We will be back.

Finest Italian Dining. Pasta Italia is one of the finest restaurants in the Memphis area. We have not eaten at all the finest places in Memphis, therefore I am reluctant to say it is the finest, but it is indeed one of the finest. Having moved here from Chicago, we are always seeking places where we would be comfortable taking guests - this certainly is one of those places. The dining room is small and intimate. The wine list is all Italian and very good, providing good wines for every taste and budget. We dined there for Valentine's and enjoyed the seven course Valentine's dinner. It was wonderful. The portions were appropriate so that you didn't feel uncomfortable at the conclusion of the meal. The service was great and the chef was very gracious, agreeing to meet us briefly after dinner.

We will likely return on another occasion simply because we loved it so much. I highly recommend Pasta Italia as very nice, authentic fine Italian dining. Excellent!
