Don't go here under any circumstances. this place is awful. I was there with my wife and my elderly mother. We were in thebprocess of leaving the store when the security guard came over and started to scream. I wish this was an exaggeration but he was swearing telling us to leave. We went up to the counter and lodged a complaint with the manager but the guard came over and told the manager to shut up and continued to scream at us. We tried to calm the situation but it seemed like the guard just didn't want us to be there. In reality this place is prett shaddy. The produce smells of chemicals, the meat is just awful and old. They sell illegal fish and the staff has a hard time speaking a word of English. If the device was decent you would maybe look past all the other problems but this place does not deserve to be in business. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!

The City's BEST Produce selection. From Banana tree leaves to papaya to dragon fruit and all regulars in between, including the largest pepper selection I've ever seen, this market has it all. They also have all things Japanese, Chinese, Mexican, etc. I didn't buy any meat or fish, but the tofu was well priced. They also have plants (cactus, aloe, etc). We had a great time just looking around-and buying fruit.

BUYER BEWARE - SALMONELLA, BOTULISM AND E COLI POSSIBLE. The meat is from "UNKNOWN" sources, and does not have ANY of the USDA markings on it.

I bought a package of pork-chops that had a chemical "smell" and taste to them.

I took them back, and the manager refused to refund.

I hope the Memphis and Shelby County Health Department WILL do an inspection on this low level market.

BUYER BEWARE - SALMONELLA, BOTULISM AND E COLI POSSIBLE AT THE WINCHESTER FARMERS MARKET AT 6616 WINCHESTER IN MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE.

Avoid at all costs..!!!
