Another 1 of My Favorites!!!. I love Abuelo's!!! Anytime I am in Memphis, this is where I go to eat. They have some of the best Mexican food I have had. We vacationed in Costa Rica a few years ago and the food at Abuelo's reminds me a lot of Costa Rica. Abuelo's has great guacamole dip and salsa. If you go here, you have got to try the Papas!! You will not be disappointed!!! I promise!

so so .......just another chain.
Far from Authentic,blan menu,no hot sauce in the whole place...chips and salsa really miss,service is not always served with a smile They really could use a menue revamp
I give it 3 stars..

cool building..not so great food. cool building with nice decoration and service! the food just isn't true mexican its sort of blan! If you want good mexican food in memphis go to La Hacienda! It's cheaper too!

Best in Memphis!. If you are looking for Mexican/South American/Spanish cuisine then look no further. Abuelos is by FAR the BEST you will find in Memphis. The food is CONSISTENTLY superb (even take-out) and the wait staff is some of the most courteous and consciencious I've ever encountered. This is without a doubt my all-time favorite Memphis restaurant!

Great salsa and queso!. This is a great mexican restaurant... definitely a step up from on the border restaurant. Margaritas very good!! I would highly recommend the salmon on the menu... nachos and fajitas only fair.

Best Mexican food in Memphis. My Husband and I love Abuelo's. We have been 5 or 6 times and everytime the food has been excellent. Service is great and price is more than reasonable. We recommend Abuelo's to everyone.

Delicious!!. We have been 4 or 5 times and it has been consistantly great! The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is even better. The service is prompt and polite.

Authentic and Delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant! I am from Albuquerque, NM and have not had any good Mexican food until I came here. Everything was delicious and the margaritas were excellent also.
