Big Mistake

Went to get my hair highlighted for the first time ever. I made an appointment for 10 am on a Saturday and wasn't finished until 3pm. As a result I spent $175.00 and my hair was burned really bad. The good thing is the highlights have lasted for several months but so has the damage. I have spent tons of money for different types of conditioners so I can comb through my hair. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

Best Salon in Memphis!! Thanks Helen!!

Helen is the best hair stylist in Memphis, in my humble, but accurate opinion. She delivers exactly what I want, not to mention she is the most down-to-earth, patient, and hospitable hair stylist I have ever known. Thanks Helen!!! Belle Ame Rocks!!!

Great salon - for guys, too!

Tracy has always done a great job on cutting my hair, and I'm a guy. No unwanted attempts at "latest fashion" styling, but simply a good, clean cut done in a timely, but not rushed, manner. The service and cuts are easily on a par with one of the more expensive salons in Dallas. Plus, they offer you a beverage of your choice - what more can you ask for?! I highly recommend Belle Ame.

• Pros: Ambience is professional and comfortable, with extra touches such as free beverages offered.
• Cons: This is a popular salon for all the reasons listed - so be sure to book well in advance!

Great stylists but that's about it...

The stylist that I see at Belle Ame is great, but that's where it ends. I've had a standing manicure/pedicure appt since late April for the end of May. The nail tech has decided she will be out of town that day and is canceling on me. They asked if I wanted to reschedule...ok this is for my wedding so naturally I don't want to reschedule for nails for any day other than that Friday or Saturday morning. So...I guess now I will be going elsewhere. The wait is all horrific there. They usually seem to be running behind 10 or 15 minutes even if you are the first appointment of the day!
