Superb museum. Informative and fun. Inspiring!. A wonderful experience. I learned so much about the origins and development of R&B music. Informative and fun exhibits - the clothing and objects are such fun. Isaac Hayes' wonderful 1970's Caddy with white shag carpet, TV and gold-plated everything, including seatbelt latches was the ultimate! You'll leave inspired. Don't miss it.

Great Museum. This museum is very well done. Lots of in depth information on the history of soul, and its influences. Wonderful exhibits, including a fabulous powder blue cadillac owned by Issac Hayes. I would definitely recommend it to anyone (My mother loved it, even though she wasn't very familiar with soul music). Make sure you have enough time-there is a lot here. We had an hour, and barely made it through half of the exhibits! Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Memphis.
