The worst ever.. My wife and I bought a house with a renovation loan from the bank. We had Mr. Doty do Repairs to make the house move-in ready and to meet FHA standards so that the house would be approved for the loan.

Nothing was done correctly!

The dishwasher leaked. The floors unfinished. One of the air duct branches was broken, letting half of our heat into the attic, among othere small problems. To top it off, the microwave was mounted incorectly. It was mounted onlY 14 inches from the stove top. He should have removed the cabinet, shortened it and then istalled the microwave. When I called him on it, he denied that there was anything he could do about it. He denied having the conversation about how it should be mounted. He claimed that a cabinet couldn't be cut. He refused to fix anything. So I did it myself. Turns out a wood cabinet can be cut.

He called my wife at work. Left her theats on voicemail and texts. Saying that he was going to put a lean on our house For money owed to him, by the BANK, not by us.

HE DOESN'T DO WHAT HE SAYS HE IS GOING TO DO AND WHAT HE DOES DO TAKES FOREVER.

WILL NEVER USE HIM AGAIN.

Could Not Be More Happy!. This is the third time that I have had the pressure of working with Jeremy Doty and his Company. Last year we had our house painted on the inside. A few monthes later we had him back to replace some damaged wood and paint the exterior.

This year we had them do some painting and construction on my parents house. They came in and did a beautiful job. Very kind and professional to my elderly parents. We will be putting the house up for sale this week. After the work Jeremy and his crew did on the house, I don't think we will have much trouble selling the house.

Very Happy. Just had Doty's Painting and Construction Renovate and Paint the Interior and Exterior of our home in Germantown. They were very professional in all areas. The owner and crew exceded our expectations. They showed up everyday and completed the projects as scheduled. It was also nice that they never asked for any money until the job was completely finished. Will be happy to pass their name to our freinds and family

Super group. I hired these men to remodel my kitchen. I could not be happier. They are very pleasant to work with and had great ideas to help me with the design and colors. Very pleased with what they did and will, for sure, call on them when I have a need again.

5 STARS *****. This company has completed numerous home improvements for me. Each time the work has been completed in a timely manner and with great results. Painting has been phenominal. One of the painters is incredible at faux finishes. The owner has always been great at helping me with colors and finishes. I will return to them again and again.

Would never consider hiring again. My experience with Doty's was similar to that of boardman12. Like him, we made the mistake of paying these characters before the job was finished. The owner told me on the phone that he would not consider depositing our check until we were happy. After that, I couldn't get him to call us back, and the check was deposited two days later.

Moreover, their prep work was shoddy. Consequently, only a couple of months after the job was finished, I had to go back and redo part of it.

It was definitely an unpleasant learning experience. My advice is, avoid these guys like the plague.

Very Professional! Will Use Again. I had my complete Interior and Exterior Painted by Doty's Painting and Construction. They did an amazing job. Jeremy helped me pick out several of the interior colors that turned out better then I could have imagined.

We are having them back this summer to renovate two of our Bathrooms. I can not wait!!!!!

Doty's - Dishonest painters! Consider other alternatives. They do an "okay" job but have no integrity in conducting business. I overpaid him $100.00 and got the run around and all sorts of lies about the refund - accountant was going to send it to me, wife put check in the mail yesterday, I will bring you the money, must have got lost in the mail, etc. Never got my money. He told me I was being petty over such a small amount of money. I guess he can say that since it wasn't his refund. I have used them twice but will never again. I hope it was worth the hundred dollars to him. This spring getting the whole inside painting. I sure he could have made a small fortune.

This is a GREAT family business.. Three Nice young men and there dad.Along with gentlemen they have trained to do it right.They have done a TON of work for me and my clients(in town and out of town). Everyone comes away happy and impressed. I had to write something on here when i saw something bad about them.I can't see why anyone would write something bad about them.However there are alot of unreasonable people in Memphis that i've run across also(everybody wants something for free).

Anyway , rest assured they are good folks and very under appreciated. Keep up the good work Doty's and see ya again soon.

They are THE BEST !. They did a great job on our houses. They did stuff that we didn't even expect.Everyone was very professional.The crew was very funny.I could have done without some of the funny noises ,but We just chuckled it off. I would rather them be in good spirits than have them fighting and argueing.Overall much better than any other crew we have hired.They have great taste too! Josh the crew leader was very sweet and took care of everything.We left our house to them (on the second house) while we went out of town,And that is the way to go.Very trust worthy and they actually got it done alot faster that way.PERFECT !
