My son suddenly began having seizures. Hospitalized for 4 days and no pediatrician or neurologist could figure it out. Displeased with my pediatric group, I remembered my OB had recommended Cowan before my son was born. I called Dr. Cowan in tears, he talked with me on the phone for over 25 minutes and said that my son may have a rare form of epilepsy. Two days and several pediatrician's and neurologist's later (and many seizures) the pediatric neurologists concluded that it was indeed what Dr. Cowan had said it was! After 2 more weeks in the hospital my son is now doing well. I tell everyone about Dr. Cowans care and compassion. You may wait awhile in the lobby to see him because of the individualized care that he give each patient...and your baby's health is well worth the wait!!! Don't wait for a crisis...make him your pediatrician today!
