Best Fried Chicken I've ever had. Period.. It's so satisfying when the place that's been generating the hype not only lives up to it, but is even better! And this place does it. I never miss it when I'm in Memphis!

The chicken here is always juicy and the breading isn't overdone. The flavor is cooked into the meat as well...yum! The sides are great as well. And make sure to bring a cooler with you and order more to take home...you'll want to! ;)

The place fills quickly, so make sure you're there and in line before 11am! But don't miss it!! You'll be hooked!

If you like Hot & Spicy, it's all that. I just moved to Memphis and can't stay away from Gus's on Front St. It is really really good fried chicken, really. It's a hole in the wall, and there is usually a wait, but it is worth the time and effort.

Best fried chicken in the WORLD. If you have some time to kill and want to eat the best fried chicken in the WORLD then try Gus's. Yes, they are slow, but usually friendly. I think they just don't have enough servers, because the ones they do have are working hard, but just cant seem to get it all together. The chicken is really hot, crunchy on the outside, and soooo juicy on the inside with the perfect amount of spicy! The fries and slaw are good too and remember to order a 40 to complete the experience

Horrible!!!. The staff clearly does not believe in any level of customer service other than BE AS RUDE AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN - especially with those who appear not to be 'regulars'. Should you pay hard earned money to be mistreated? No matter how good the food, the lack of customer responsiveness will ruin the experience.

Best Fried Chicken Ever!. This is absolutely the best fried chicken my husband and I have ever had! It is spicy, but we love that. It was just the right amount of batter and crispness and the chicken was not dry. It was even good cold the next day.

The only bummer was they don't make any non-spicy fried chicken. So my 5 yr old ordered a hot dog which came as a gross looking weiner rolled up in white bread. He doesn't like fries either so it's a good thing he wasn't very hungry.
