mostly hype. I finally checked out uncle lou's. I'd heard a lot of talk about them. The woman that took my order was very pleasant and continued to hype up the chicken.

But sorry, I wasn't at all impressed. The chicken did not taste fresh and their home style chicken was no better than any other person's home cooked chicken, I've tasted. The sweet and spicy love chicken was okay but it was the only thing in the meal that was noteworthy and it didn't taste freshly cooked either. When I buy out I expect something special. But I can now testify that on the chicken side of the plate Uncle Lou doesn't impress.

Friendly and tasty. We were welcomed at the door by the owner. Lou is friendly and gregarious.

The chicken was delicious...the honey dipped hot especially!

Although the neighborhood is a bit dicey, I have no qualms about recommending a lunchtime visit.
