My first visit to Outback. It was my first visit tonight and I must say you did not get off on the right foot. I ordered a frozen Margarita and got one on the rock. The bread was stone cold. When my food arrived the baked potato was rotten in the middle. When they brought the second potato it was cold. My food was all cold The server told us she would bring us more bread but never did. The service wasn't that great either.When we spend 40 dollars we should have hot food and good service.

When Time is Less Important than Taste... If you're patient enough to endure the wait to get a table, OutBack Steakhouse has consistently good food from the crisp salads to the tender and flavorful beef. Admittedly, there're few Memphis restaurants that aren't overloaded on weekends, but OutBack always seems to be filled to capacity , so I have to REALLY be in the mood for one of their succulent filets, or the lengthy wait for a table causes me to seek another, less-crowded place. When you do get a table; however, the food is delicious, portions are generous, and the serving staff is efficient and friendly. Despite the noisy atmosphere, minimal decor and rather uncomfortable banquettes for seating, I do always emerge feeling satisfied with my meal. If you are looking for a quiet, romantic dinner, find a quiet, romantic restaurant, but OutBack is for those times when you are feeling patient, casual, and really hungry.
