Lowe's is akin to Home Depot in its sprawling and potentially intimidating setup. The Garden Center, however, reveals a lesser-known specialty for this home improvement giant. The roomy greenhouse and creative accessory displays will appeal to the enthusiast interested in improving more than the inside of her home.

From hammocks to hemlock, Lowe's has so many garden products they've published a catalog (Outdoor Ideas) filled with tips and suggestions. Furniture, fertilizer, pottery, peat moss and more citronella candles than you can imagine--Lowe's has it all, including one of the best collections of houseplants in the city.
