A great spot to watch baseball.. Connected to the entertainment district, this stadium is a complement to the Fedex Forum located just a few of blocks away.
Prime placement in downtown Memphis and a vintage feel make this a great spot to watch baseball..
The Venue
An open concourse gives way to great sight lines during the game. Families should check out "The Boardwalk" with its bevy of baseball related games. If your kids are itching to play during the game, sit on "The Bluff" just behind left field and let them go wild at P.D. Parrots Playhouse Perch, a baseball playground.
The Experience
Since baseball great Mark McGuire helped inaugurate this stadium in 2000, thousands of fans have given AutoZone Park rave reviews. And it's no wonder why: Its old-fashioned feel and convenient location in downtown Memphis make this the perfect spot to catch a game. The Memphis Redbirds, the AAA affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, played their first full season here in the spring and summer of 2000. The Redbirds and the not-for-profit foundation that owns them participate in various outreach programs.
Nothing like it!. Not only is this a GREAT place to watch baseball, the staff is the friendliest, most helpful bunch you'll find. And the unique structure of the Memphis Redbirds (the team and the facility owned by a not-for-profit entity that puts money into inner-city and youth baseball in the area) makes going to the games a ritual you can really feel good about. Go Redbirds!
